Michael is the President of the Asian Academy Creative Awards, an Award-winning Executive Producer, Director and Creator of Programming with over 30 years experience in network television. Michael has an extensive knowledge of the Asia-Pac media landscape. As the President of activeTV, he is very passionate about the business of making content and has won numerous awards for his work, including an International Emmy.
Michael also has a very strong, unscripted, entertainment, sports and live TV background. He is also a member of the ‘International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’. In his spare time Michael enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching and going to Australian Football and the Grand Prix.

Our CEO is a highly experienced media and corporate lawyer. Upon obtaining a Law Degree from the University of Malaya, Fiona has built a formidable career as an in-house legal counsel over the past 20 years. Her former employers include Star Cruises (listed in HKSE), Astro Malaysia (listed in KLSE), SpeedCast (listed in ASX) and RTL-CBS Asia. Prior to AAA, she was the Head of Legal for Vuclip (operates under VIU) based in Singapore.
Having gained valuable expertise in broadcasting and media law, Fiona brings her vast legal experience to ensure the integrity of the AAA. At work, Fiona is friendly, sensible, positive, believes in teamwork and is driven by a sense for fair play. In her free time, Fiona catches a good movie or TV show to wind down and spends as much as possible quality time with family and friends.
Office Manager, Asian Academy Creative Awards
Fluent in several Asian languages, Louisa joined Asian Academy Creative Awards since its establishment in 2018. With strong interpersonal skills and a distinct flair for organization, Louisa plays a key part in day-to-day business in Asia. Apart from spending time with her children, she enjoys watching movies and grooving to Blackpink.
Finance and Admin Manager, Asian Academy Creative Awards
Being the Finance and Admin Manager at AAA, Tansy has been in the accounting sector for more than 6 years. After graduating with a degree in Accountancy, she has been through different industries like, petroleum, transport, media and shared services.
Tansy is the one to look for regarding all sorts of money matters. Other than finance, Tansy has also obtained a diploma in IT, allowing her to resolve minor IT issues in the office. Outside work, you will find her enjoying photography outdoors, reading novels and spending time with her family!
Production Coordinator, Asian Academy Creative Awards
Freshly graduated from Singapore Polytechnic, Anthea is part of the Production Team.
Throughout her course in Diploma in Creative Writing for Television and New Media, she found out that she had a flair for production. Her scope includes videography, anything Adobe, and dabbling all things media.
During her internship, Anthea has assisted in 2018’s Asian Academy Creative Awards and now she’s back for another. Passionate about the arts, when she’s not at work, you can find her doodling and jamming to Broadway musicals.
Social Media and Digital Consultant, Asian Academy Creative Awards
Katie is based in Melbourne, Australia and joined The AAA’s team in 2018 working on the social media and digital team. She has lots of experience in social media after running successful beauty pages for a number of years. Katie is very creative and enjoys writing and digital design, is very interested in the fashion and entertainment industries.
Katie also runs her own business as a makeup artist, working on many of events and TV shows in Australia, she is also qualified in special effects makeup. In her spare time you will find her playing with makeup, watching Australian football and spending time with her family and friends.
