Susan Lee is the Senior Regional Director, Production & Trade Policy, Asia-Pacific for the Motion Picture Association International whose global mission is to advance and support the film, television and streaming content industry. In her current role, Susan works closely with MPA studio executives throughout the region on trade policy, maintaining sound legislative and commercial frameworks promoting and protecting their interests, and enhancing production incentives.
As one of the most seasoned executives in the organization, joining the MPA-I when it opened its regional office in Singapore in 1983, Susan has contributed to the film and television industries’ evolution and growth in Asia, particularly with regards to China.
Over the years, she has overseen various portfolios involving legislative and commercial issues, content protection, government engagement, and representing the association in various constituencies, and at public and private sector conferences, seminars and events around the world.
Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Economics.
