Laura Li is the Director of Business Operations in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. Before working at Disney, she was the innovation lead in the CEO office of Rakuten, where she also headed the basketball business, spearheading initiatives to grow the company’s subscribers and fanbase. She focused on building an ecosystem to support this by launching an Over-The-Top (OTT) platform, original content, exclusive merchandising, and events. Laura began her career in the financial services and investment sector in London. After completing her MBA from Yale, she transitioned to consumer tech, holding several key roles in innovation strategy, business development and operations in the US and China.
