Clement Schwebig is currently the President Western Europe & Africa. He was the former President and Managing Director of Warner Bros. Discovery for India, Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea. Based in Singapore, Clement oversees a diverse regional portfolio across flagship brands such as Warner Bros., HBO and Discovery, encompassing TV networks, streaming services, theatrical distribution, consumer products, content licensing and local content production. A media leader with more than 20 years’ experience, Clement has supported the expansion of the company’s global IP in Asia, forging partnerships for key franchises including DC, Harry Potter and the Wizarding World, and Looney Tunes. He continues to lead the growth of streaming service HBO GO across eight territories in Southeast Asia, and has overseen an increased investment in HBO Asia Originals for both local and international audiences. He holds executive producer credits on 13 original HBO series to date, with many of them scoring high-profile international awards including Emmy nominations. Prior to Warner Bros. Discovery, he spent more than a decade managing TV operations at RTL Group, including as Chief Operating Officer of RTL Televizija (Croatia), Alpha Media Group (Greece) and SVP of International TV Operations (Mumbai). In 2023, he holds the position of Chairman of the Asian Academy Creative Awards, the region’s foremost awards recognizing the best talent and creative excellence.
