“YANXI PALACE” STAR LAWRENCE WONG BACK FOR ASIAN ACADEMY CREATIVE AWARDS
SINGAPORE 7th October 2019:
The Asian Academy Creative Awards has announced the first of its star line-up for 2019 and has opted for a home town hero from host nation Singapore.
Lawrence Wong has been plying his trade across movies, television, hosting and singing for the last decade but it was his eye-catching role in the hit historical drama series “The Story of Yanxi Palace” that shot him to stardom.
“The Asian Academy Creative Awards are all about showcasing our own great content and creatives to the world and we’re thrilled Lawrence will be jetting back from China especially for our Red carpet and Gala Awards Final,” said AAA Chief Executive Fiona McKay.
Lawrence will be presenting two awards on Friday, December 6th at the prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards which is broadcast live from Singapore’s historic Victoria Theatre.
Fans can get up close and personnel to the stars (including Lawrence Wong) as they strut the glittering Red Carpet which is being covered by E! Entertainment live into 34 countries.
“The AAA’s Red Carpet is open to the public although fans can pick up a Fan Zone ticket for just $50 which gets them into a prime zone alongside the media pack and a ticket to the actual awards” Fiona added.
Lawrence now counts his social media followers in the millions and he’s not only a hot item on red carpets like the 71st Cannes International Film Festival but he’s winning awards like the 2018 Golden Angel TV Award for “Best Supporting Actor”.
He’s now sought after as a brand endorser for the likes of Mont Blanc and TAG Heuer. FOR MORE INFORMATION email: fiona@asianacademycreativeawards.com
