Singapore – [8 February 2023] – Clement Schwebig, Warner Bros. Discovery President – India, SEA and Korea is today announced as the Chair of the 2023 Asian Academy Creative Awards. He takes over the honorary role from Founder of Virtualness (former Meta executive), Saurabh Doshi, who successfully completed his two year term.
Asian Academy Creative Awards President, Michael McKay, said: ‘With deep knowledge of the local industry, the Academy will benefit from Clement’s expertise as it outlines its 2023 Awards program. Clement has a passion for the big picture and industry at large – we’re excited to have him on board.”
Michael added: “I would like to convey my great appreciation for the vision Saurabh provided during his tenure especially in embracing digital, metaverse and the first ever NFTs version of the trophy being given out to the winners in 2022”.

Traditionally hosted from Singapore, the annual Asian Academy Creative Awards is regarded as Asia-Pac’s Most Prestigious Awards for Creative Excellence. It serves as a peer judged pinnacle of achievement in content creation, performance and media production. Open to countries throughout the Asia Pacific region, the AAA honours excellence across television, film, digital, streaming and emerging technologies. The ceremonies are staged each December and include awards across scripted, non-scripted, news, documentaries, factual, promos, kids and branded. In addition to the Awards ceremony, through its Academy Campus it also strives to develop and encourage the next generation of industry professionals.
