BENJAMIN KHENG PROMISES WICKED PERFORMANCE AT THE AAA’S
Music sensation (and actor, host and all-round mega-talent) Benjamin Kheng will perform his new single “Wicked” for the first time in front of TV cameras when he makes a special appearance at this year’s prestigious Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA’s).
“It’s a huge honour to perform at the AAA. This would be the first time Wicked gets on live TV, so we’ve got a couple of surprises in store. It’s gonna be… wicked.” Benjamin said (with his trademark enthusiasm).
On Friday, December 6th, the Sony Music signed former member of “The Sam Willows”, will walk the glittering AAA Red Carpet, which is broadcast live on E! into 34 countries across the region. He’ll then sneak backstage in readiness for his big performance, but not before stopping off to spend some time with his fans.
“We’re thrilled that Singapore’s Benjamin Kheng is performing at the awards, he’s a super talented guy and his latest single is a testament to that,” said AAA President Michael McKay.
Benjamin will also present the award for Best Music or Dance Programme.
The Asian Academy Creative Awards will be streamed on HOOQ (Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand) Tonton (Malaysia), Danet (Vietnam), Toggle (Singapore) and broadcast on free to air network Viu TV (Hong Kong) as well as the E! Live on the Red Carpet. Benjamin is no stranger to TV. He serves as writer, director and stars in the comedy sketch series “The BenZi Project”. He can also be seen on Viu’s No Sleep No FOMO, as well as Comedy Central’s Stand-Up, Asia! Season 4.
