Sungmin Lee has served as an assistant professor in the Department of Media Arts & Sciences at Korea National Open University, and has given numerous consultations, presentations and lectures on the content industry and changes in the Korean Wave. he worked at the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute, leading a number of research projects on cultural content policy. Lee’s publications include Squid Game and the Content Revolution (2022, co-authored) and Hallyu White Paper 2021 (2020, co-authored).
