Commencing her career at the Nine Network Australia, Shauna has also worked for the Seven Network and on several overseas productions. Shauna is currently Executive Producer of Woolworths Carols in the Domain and QBE Insurance Carols by Candlelight, both aired on the Seven Network.

Yin is the winner of the distinguished Chinese Starlight TV Awards and the “Golden Eagle Awards”. In 2014 and 2015, Hollywood Reporter nominated Yin as one of “the world’s most powerful women in the TV industry”.

She also serves on the Jury of Spike Asia 2018.

James Ross

James has over 25 years of experience at the BBC, Bloomberg, ITV and now Lightning International – ranging from on-air presentation and programming, to production, distribution sales, and creation of TV channels. James comes from the UK, and has been in Asia for 23 years.

After working for the BBC for 12 years, James was part of the launch team in Tokyo for Bloomberg Television Asia in 1996. He built a strong Asian presence and distribution for the channel. In 2006 he was appointed Regional Director for Asia for the UK’s biggest commercial broadcaster, ITV. The role involved establishing ITV’s Asian-based business in Hong Kong, developing a profitable distribution business, launching ITV formats in China and India, and creating the ITV Granada TV channel.

James launched Lightning International in 2011 as a content solutions company to help independent producers distribute their programmes. Working with more than 20 producers, James and his team offers a catalogue of 3000+ hours of programmes and formats. We also offers consulting services, distribute TV channels such as TRACE, MEZZO Live HD, and Fix & Foxi, and create channels such as Pulse TV (Documentary), Action Hollywood Movies, Greatest Hits Of Music (Music TV), Pet Club TV, and Ultralife 4K (Lifestyle Entertainment).

Kazufumi (Kaz) Nagasawa

Kazufumi (Kaz) Nagasawa is Managing Director & Chief Content Officer at HJ Holdings, which owns and operates Hulu branded SVOD service in Japan.

Kaz oversees all content and marketing activities for the service, including content acquisition and production of original series as well as online and offline marketing for customer acquisition and retention. He also plays a leading role in strategic planning and managing partnerships.

Kaz joined Hulu Japan as the head of content and distribution in May 2011 before the service launched as the first pure SVOD platform in Japan, and has been the driving force for the company to establish key partnerships with both content and device partners. He played a material role in the transition of the ownership of the company from Hulu LLC to Nippon TV in 2014.
