Asian Academy Awards (AAA's) are thrilled to announce the appointment of Ricky Ow, President of Turner Asia Pacific, as Chairman of the inaugural AAA.

“The Academy has a genuine commitment to supporting the Asian content industry by conducting masterclasses, workshops and seminars. Giving back to the next generation of industry professionals is something I’m very passionate about. Ngo Thi Bich Hanh is one of the founders, and now Vice President of BHD /Vietnam Media Corp and Vietnam Studio - specializing in TV and Film distribution and production. She played an important role in introducing a MTV channel to Vietnamese audiences in 1998, Celestrial movie channel in 2008 and Astro Cam Xuc in 2008.

Denis Harvey has an extensive background in Television as a Network Executive, Executive Producer, Producer and Consultant. His production credits span factual, documentary, reality and sport - Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, America's Cup and Rugby World Cup. Denis has also worked on a number of seasons of the Amazing Race format in Asia, Israel and Australia.

Shauna has over 30 years experience in the television industry with a special focus on live studio, outside broadcasts and event productions. Shauna has also worked in the genre of reality television on The Amazing Race Australia, The Amazing Race Asia and The Ultimate Fighter. Commencing her career at the Nine Network Australia, Shauna has also worked for the Seven Network and on several overseas productions. Shauna is currently Executive Producer of Woolworths Carols in the Domain and QBE Insurance Carols by Candlelight, both aired on the Seven Network.

Sreyashi Sen is the Founder and Managing Director DARPAN GLOBAL, a Singapore home-grown brand which produces and curates content across platforms. She has been instrumental in opening doors to independent Indian content for SE Asia. She is also the only woman movie distributor South and in South East Asia, having distributed close to 40 over movies across genres and languages.

Nelia Sutrisno has built a senior management career in the media industry in Asia for over 2 decades . Nelia founded The Group Entertainment in 2010 as a fully-integrated media development company that brings together the talent and resources of various partners into the conceptualisation, production and distribution of entertainment content for global audiences.

CEO of FremantleMedia China and also a general board member of format protection body, FRAPA; and member of the Advisory Board of NATPE, the largest market of global content in North America. Yin is the winner of the distinguished Chinese Starlight TV Awards and the “Golden Eagle Awards”. In 2014 and 2015, Hollywood Reporter nominated Yin as one of “the world’s most powerful women in the TV industry”. She also serves on the Jury of Spike Asia 2018.
